Came here for 1 specific item that I was wanting and in no time at all I found where it was located and they had it in stock. Furthermore yhe store was so well organized and clean, and they had so many great items I actually purchased 4 other things for my 2 dogs and 1 cat. Thank you Petco for being a great store with wonderfully courteous employees, I will for sure 100% be referring anyone I know looking for pet supplies or a new pet for that matter to come shop at Petco.

I love petco cause they have all my cat products that my cat needs 😍 💗. I can't get them anywhere else so a huge thanks to petco. This is also where I first met my kesha from paws and more shelter in Washington, IA. She was 1yr old when I adopted her and now she is 12yrs old and just as healthy as ever!!! I'm so greatful to all!!!😊❤️

She took her pomeranian in for grooming, and we bought some toys for my dogs and her little one. Bath and brush, and trimmed her nails in about 1.5 hour. A good job, and a happy 🐶.

Friendly employees helping answer questions, educate, and find what one is looking for. Plenty of variety. Many fun decorations and gift ideas. Lots of food options for a variety of animals, including a good selection of bird food.

My dog Duende has been groomed here several times without issue, but during our most recent visit he was injured. A groomer who had never worked with him before accidentally nicked his ear, causing a laceration. I understand that accidents can happen, and to Petco’s credit, they did cover the cost of his treatment at BluePearl in Cedar Rapids. The vet treated the wound with tissue glue and antibiotics, and thankfully, he should recover without lasting damage (though stitches may still be needed if bleeding continues). The real issue—and the reason for my low rating—is Petco’s policy around communication. When they called me, all they told me was that there had been an “incident” and that they had taken my dog to the emergency vet. They refused to tell me what had happened, what the injury was, or whether his life was in danger. I only learned the specifics (that it was a cut on his ear) after I rushed to the hospital and spoke with the vet directly. Those 30 minutes of not knowing left me sobbing and panicked, fearing the worst. To make matters worse, when I called the store asking to speak with someone, I was told a manager would get on the line—but instead, I was left on hold f
